Terms of Use
Effective November 17, 2026
These terms apply when you use Groomers Club at groomers.club. By creating an account or using Groomers Club, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.
Read this first
- Your data can be lost. Groomers Club runs on one private computer. Records and whole accounts can be lost, damaged or become unreachable at any time, for any reason. Backups are not guaranteed.
- Your account can be closed. Groomers Club may suspend, limit or delete any account, and everything in it, at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice.
- Groomers Club can stop. Any feature, or the whole service, can change or end at any time.
- Keep your own copy of anything you can’t afford to lose: Account > Download my data.
1. Who can use Groomers Club
Groomers Club is for dog groomers and their businesses. You must be at least 13, and if you’re under 18, you need a parent’s or guardian’s permission. You’re responsible for everything done with your account. Sign-ups may be limited or closed at any time.
2. Price
Groomers Club has three plans: Free, Pro and Unlimited. Each includes different features and limits, shown on the Plan tab, and the owner can change plan at any time. All three are free for now. A monthly fee for Pro and Unlimited may come later. You’ll be told well before it starts, and nothing will ever be charged unless you choose a paid plan and agree to the price.
Moving to a smaller plan. What the smaller plan doesn’t include is greyed out, its public pages go offline, and people over its staff limit can’t use the business until there’s room. Your records stay and come back when you move up, with one exception: on a plan without photos, your stored photos and website pictures are hidden, then permanently deleted once you’ve been on such a plan for 6 months. You’re warned about this before you move.
Domains. Domains can’t be bought through Groomers Club yet. The Plan tab and the website editor show the fees we plan to charge. Terms for domains will be added here before anything is sold.
3. Your records
What you store stays yours. You let Groomers Club keep, copy and show it only so the service works. Files you download from it are yours to look after; they aren’t encrypted.
4. Records about other people
You keep records about your own clients and their dogs. You’re responsible for that information: only store what you’re allowed to, keep it accurate, and delete it when a client asks. Groomers Club only emails your clients when you ask it to (a pickup notice, a report card, a booking, a reply to a booking request) or when you turn on reminders. Only email clients who expect to hear from you. If a client uses the link in an email to stop them, Groomers Club stops; only turn them back on if that client asks you to. Vaccine reminders and review links are emailed only if you turn them on.
Your team. The owner decides who works at the business in Groomers Club and what they can see, and is responsible for them. Only invite people who work with you, and remove them when they leave. Pay, hours and clock times Groomers Club shows are for your own records; check them before you pay anyone, and follow the employment and tax rules where you work. A calendar link shows clients’ details to whoever has it and to the calendar app that keeps it: keep it private.
Online booking and your clients’ page. If you let clients book or change visits online, the times offered come from the working hours and calendar you keep; you’re responsible for keeping them right and for honouring what clients book. Changes clients make themselves (if you allow that) are saved as they make them. The yearly summary and expense groups are a starting point for you or your accountant, not tax advice.
Forms you ask clients to agree to (such as a matted-coat release) are yours: you write or choose the words, and you’re responsible for them being right for your business and where you work. The examples Groomers Club offers are a starting point, not legal advice. Packages and gift cards you sell, tips and payments you record are between you and your clients; Groomers Club doesn’t take or hold any money, and its records of them are for your own bookkeeping.
If you turn on a client sign-up page, it shows your business’s name and asks your clients for the details described in the Privacy Policy. You’re responsible for the sign-ups you approve, and for answering clients who ask about their details. Pick an address that’s yours to use: one that copies another business’s name or misleads people can be changed or removed.
If you publish a website, you’re responsible for everything on it. Only use words, pictures and logos you have the right to use. Prices and opening hours on it are yours to keep correct. A site that breaks these terms, copies another business, or misleads people can be taken down, and Groomers Club may remove anything reported to it that breaks the law.
5. What’s not allowed
- Anything illegal, or content you don’t have the right to store or publish.
- Using your website to pretend to be someone else, collect passwords or payment details, or point people to scams or harmful downloads.
- Malware, or using Groomers Club to attack, spam or defraud anyone.
- Trying to get into other accounts or businesses, break Groomers Club’s security, or overload the service.
- Creating accounts automatically or in bulk, or reselling access.
6. Closing accounts
You can delete your account at any time in Account > Delete my account, by typing “delete my account”. While you’re signed in, nothing else is asked, so sign out when others can use your device. Someone working at a business they don’t own can leave it in Account. If you own the business, it’s deleted with all its records. Deleting is immediate and can’t be undone.
Groomers Club may suspend, limit or delete any account at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice, and without any duty to explain, to give you a chance to save your data, or to restore it.
Unused accounts are deleted. An account that isn’t signed in to or open anywhere for 6 months is deleted, with everything in it; one whose business has no clients is deleted after 3 months. Groomers Club emails the account’s address at least 14 days before. Signing in once before the date in that email keeps the account.
7. Your data can be lost
Groomers Club runs on one private computer. It may be slow, offline or stop entirely, without notice. Anything in it, including clients, dogs, appointments, prices and earnings, may be lost, corrupted, deleted or become unreachable at any time, for any reason, including hardware or power failure, software bugs, mistakes, attacks, legal demands, or the service ending. Groomers Club makes backups but doesn’t promise they exist, work or can be restored, and won’t restore an individual account’s data on request. Don’t rely on Groomers Club as the only copy of your business records.
8. Disclaimer
Groomers Club is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, or that data won’t be lost or that the service will be free of errors or interruptions. Nothing it shows you (including earnings, the breed guide, vaccine dates or pet recall alerts) is guaranteed to be correct or complete. You use Groomers Club entirely at your own risk.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Groomers Club and whoever runs it are not liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from or related to Groomers Club, your use of it, or your inability to use it, including lost or corrupted data, lost or closed accounts, lost money, business, clients, profits or goodwill, security breaches, and any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, even if told such damage was possible. While Groomers Club is free, total liability for any claim is limited to zero dollars, where the law allows that; where it doesn’t, liability is limited to the smallest amount the law permits.
You agree to hold harmless and defend Groomers Club and whoever runs it from any claim, loss or cost arising from your use of Groomers Club, the records you keep about other people, or your breaking these terms.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where Groomers Club’s operator lives, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
11. The rest
If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part of these terms doesn’t waive it. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Groomers Club.
12. Changes
These terms and the Privacy Policy may change. The date at the top shows the latest version, and Groomers Club keeps a record of which version you agreed to and when. When they change, the app asks you to agree to the new version before you carry on; if you don’t agree, you can download your data and delete your account.
